Job Description


ARK Management seeks a highly motivated, experienced and certified Community Manager to join our team for an onsite management position in a large 70 acre (almost 700 home) mature (approximately 15 years old) residential gated community in the North County San Diego area. (Hwy 15/Hwy 78 area)

Candidates must have a positive attitude and the appropriate demeanor to deal with “family” based community issues, with club house, pool, sports court and play ground areas. We utilize a very hands on micro management business plan approach. Must be accustomed to working with high membership involvement via sub-committees and HOA activities. You will have the support of our in-house professional HOA Management Team who will liaison directly with the Board and provide you direction and guidance in fulfillment of the Board’s mission. Position Summary:
The Community Manager will manage (from very attractive offices in the community center) the community as a business unit to achieve pre-determined marketing and financial results. The Community Manager trains, supervises and motivates all on-site office personnel, directly supervising Maintenance Supervisor, Assistant Maintenance, and Assistant Manager.

Job Responsibilities:
Assist/report to the Director of HOA Services and the Director of Administration in the following capacities:

Homeowner Services
Board Meetings, Committee Meetings and Monthly Reports
Inspections and CC&R Adherence
Supplier Management
Finance and Accounting Management
Administrative Management
Performance Management
Ensure staff compliance with company policies and procedures.

Ensure staff performance of duties on a timely basis.

Assist with special projects and administrative tasks.

Other responsibilities include but are not limited to: marketing, financial reporting and control, resident relations.

Requirements

• On-site experience as an Assistant Community Manager or comparable experience is required.
• Excellent people skills.
• Must be a strong team player with good communication skills and ability to solve problems, manage time and set priorities.
• Must be detail oriented, flexible and well organized.
• Must have a working knowledge of computers, finance, management, sales and marketing.
• Must be capable of preparing and analyzing budgets/financial forecasts and working within a budget.
• CAM, CCAM or other property management certification a must.
• Experience working Onsite preferred.
