Senior Property Manager
Reports to: Regional Property Manager - TX Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned. • Improve the financial performance of assets through increasing occupancy, lowering delinquency and expense controls. • Develop strong marketing plans for the community. • Preparation of annual budgets, goals and objectives. • Ability to multi-task in fast-paced workplace. • Strategic thinker, proactive with understanding of financials. • Strong verbal and written communication skills. • Great planning and organizational skills. • Experience with Yardi Property Management Software. • Processes work orders and handles resident relations. • Assists Leasing Consultants in pre-qualification of prospects, leasing, preparation of lease package, answering phones, etc. • Review lease packages for accuracy. • Responsible for market surveys, preparation and distribution of late notices, liens and evictions, posting rent collections, running reports, etc. • Responsible for preparation of bank deposits. • Updates availability list for current move-ins, pending move-outs, and vacancies on a daily basis. • Responsible for all on-site administrative functions, office equipment, office supplies, etc. • Assists management staff in obtaining objectives and competently organize and execute projects quickly as directed. • Responsible for timeliness and accuracy of reports submitted to and property information requested by corporate office for reporting purposes. • Responsible for accuracy of data entry input into computer software relating to resident files. • Responsible for arriving to work, meetings and educational seminars in a timely manner. • Submits processed security deposit dispositions to the proper District Manager for review and approval. • Researches inquiries from vendors and contract laborers regarding invoices. • Generates related reports for Regional Property Manager and the corporate office. • Responsible for complying with all Fair Housing guidelines. Requirements Associates or Bachelor Degree preferred. Minimum of three years current property management experience, including supervisory and budgetary responsibilities is required.
