ATARID has been retained to identify a President-Community Association Management by an established company, specializing in homeowner associations (HOAs), condominium associations, cooperatives, luxury high-rises, districts, and master-planned communities.
Experienced in community association management, the President is responsible for the ongoing operations, procedures, processes, and efficiency of the business.
Responsibilities:
Manage the daily operations for a growth market, serving communities within the local market and surrounding areas
Train, develop and oversee staff of Senior CAMs, CAMs and ACAMs
Manage and track internal and external tasks, oversee all calendars and scheduled events, and
serve as the second level of escalation
Ensure CAMs are operating within the service level agreement and meeting client expectations
Recruit and build a highly functioning and effective team
Evaluate performance by analyzing and interpreting KPIs and metrics
Participate in expansion activities including alliances
Develop and grow relationships with strategic partners
Develop relationships with Boards of Homeowner Associations
Qualifications:
3+ years community management experience as President, Vice President, or relevant senior roles demonstrating leadership capabilities
Demonstrated success consistently exceeding annual goals
Highly effective ability to manage Senior Managers, Community Association Managers and Assistant Community Association Managers
Effectively lead a team of professionals by recruiting, hiring, training, managing, developing, coaching, and releasing employees as necessary
Very effective ability to manage a large, complex portfolio of communities
Ability to manage the transition process to on-board new community association clients and the client community during the set-up process
Developer portfolio experience
Familiar with vendor management, and construction and maintenance issues
Solid understanding of budgets and financial statements
Ability to motivate, cultivate and negotiate with committees and board members
Demonstrable competency in strategic planning and business development
Professional verbal and written communication skills
Strong organizational and time management skills
Possess excellent people skills, business acumen and exemplary work ethics.
High integrity, honesty and professionalism
Proficient in Word, Excel, Outlook and database applications
